A man who had his I-Pad and I-Phone stolen two weeks has traced them to a refugee centre in Northern Zeeland but the police have refused to offer any help in retrieving them.
Mikkel Hilgart, who's been able to locate his stolen property with the help of 'find my I-Pad' GPS technology said he knows exactly where they are and can even make them 'beep' but the police just aren't bothered.
Chief Inspector Flemming Drejer of North Zeeland police said the refugee center is a large building so it would be extremely difficult to precisely localise the stolen items. "We'd have to ransack 30-40 rooms and we just don't have the resources," he said.
I-Phones are the single most popular attraction for street thieves in Denmark today.
